Savta’s Za’atar

This is Savta’s take on za’atar. Earthy, tangy, and bright, with just the right balance of sesame and lemony sumac. Sprinkle it over labneh and olive oil, toss it on warm pita, or use it to wake up roasted vegetables, eggs, or salads. It’s the kind of blend you keep near the stove because you’ll reach for it more than you think.

Savta’s tip: Mix it with olive oil and spread on fresh bread before baking or toasting.
